Turnitin AI Report Checker in the United Arab Emirates: Check Before You Submit

The UAE has one of the world's highest concentrations of international branch campuses, from UK and Australian universities in Dubai to NYU Abu Dhabi. Most run assessment through Turnitin, and since August 2026 its AI detector reads Arabic as well as English.

Turnitin in the UAE

• Branch campuses generally follow their home university's Turnitin and AI policy, so a Dubai campus of a UK university applies UK-style rules.
• Local universities such as Ajman University publish guidance on Turnitin's AI writing detection feature.
• Arabic AI detection launched on 18 August 2026, so Arabic-language work can now be scored.

Who in the UAE should check first

• Students at branch campuses of UK, Australian and US universities.
• Students at UAE universities writing in English or Arabic.
• Working professionals on part-time MBAs and master's programmes.
• Students who translate between Arabic and English with AI tools.
